Sobbing Delta Passengers Shocked To See What’s Being Removed From Aircraft Seconds After Landing The moment your plane lands and the captain gives his wishes, passengers grab overhead carry-on bags, and everyone piles out of the door like everyone rushing out of a stadium after an NFL playoff victory. The people go to their locations, pick up their luggage, greet loved ones. Everything is fine and they’re all happy to be off the plane they spent too much time cramped next to a snorer, or someone who smells and didn’t get an extra bag of peanuts or a full cup of diet soda. Maybe there’s even a crazed middle-aged white woman who throws a fit and has the “I’d like to talk to the manager please” haircut. Or maybe some old Asian fella gets dragged off the plane and everyone laughs a little on ...

The money saving expert appeared on BBC Breakfast to discuss the ongoing saga of Ryanair's cancelled flights. Martin Lewis has spoken out several times this week to help disgruntled passengers decide what to do. Ryanair has until 5pm today to comply with multiple requests from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to change its policies. It also claims Ryanair has failed to adequately inform passengers of their rights to compensation for out-of-pocket expenses. Martin said: "The CAA has clearly stated to Ryanair that it must abide by these rules." But the money expert warned Ryanair doesn't have to answer the CAA's demands. The airline could choose to ignore the warning and take the matter to court instead. This would mean affected passengers have the choice to either accept Ryana...

  • EU Parliament approves more rights for air passengers

The European Parliament approved on Wednesday stricter rules to protect the rights of air passengers. MEPs want to make it easier for travelers to claim economic compensation from their airlines in the event of a delayed or cancelled flight. "Passengers have a right to compensation under our rules after three hours of delay, 300 Euros until 2500 km, and then after 5 hours, 500 Euros and after 7 hours, up to 6000 Euros and 6000 kilometres, the complete system is improved. Deadlines must be respected and airlines can not refuse to respond to complains. Basically information must be improved and this begins with the booking operations and reservations." said EPP MEP Georges Bach. Under the new measures, consumers could be compensated up to €6000 depending on the length of the delay and fl...

  • Area 51 tour bus accidentally crosses the border into the base and gets an unfriendly welcome

LAS VEGAS -- A tour bus carrying visitors to the edge of the top secret Area 51 military base has done something that many people have only fantasized about doing. It crossed the line and entered the base. The driver and his four passengers learned a quick lesson about how serious Area 51 is about its boundary and its security. And the entire incident was captured on video. In the 25 years since I-Team reports first put the once unknown base on the map, tens of thousands of curious people have trekked out to take a peek. A few strayed over the line, on purpose, and were quickly scooped up. As far as we know, this is the first intrusion caught entirely on video and it nearly caused the tours to be shut down. Area 51's years in obscurity ended in 1989 when news reports about classified p...

Due to special needs in airport facilities, children who travel alone or accompanied, babies, ill patients and pregnant women are referred to as special passengers. The case of children, the majority of airlines offer an assistance service for children between 5 and 12 years old who are travelling alone, as long as the child's parents or guardians sign a Waiver of Responsibility and ensure that an adult will be waiting for the child in the destination airport. If you are travelling with children under 14 years old, please take into account the following recommendations: Children under 14 years old travelling with their parents may travel throughout Spanish territory without documentation. However, some companies request to see the Family Record Book registration, in accordance with their internal policies. We recommend that you contact your airline to confirm the documentation that you may need. Children older than 14 years old should carry the same documentation as adults. The majority of companies provide special services for children –games, books, etc.– and also children's menus, if requested in advance. If you are travelling with a baby, please take into consideration the following recommendations: - Babies can fly from 48 hours after their birth onwards. However, it is recommended that they do not fly until one week after their birth for short flights and at least three weeks for long-haul flights. - In general, it is a good idea to inform the airline you are travelling with in advance, especially if you are going to need a special seat for your baby. - Babies may travel throughout Spanish territory without documentation. However, some companies request to see the Family Record Book registration, in accordance with their internal policies. We recommend that you contact your airline to confirm the documentation that you may need. Should you fall ill, the airline's medical service will study the possibility of whether you fly or not and the conditions of flight. You may be transported on a stretcher or given one or more seats, and should contact the airline regarding the conditions and fares applicable in each case. When transported on a stretcher, you must be accompanied by another person. Travelling on planes is safe for pregnant women who have not had previous complications. The majority of airlines do not impose specific authorisations for women travelling within their first 28 weeks of pregnancy.Airlines do however recommend that women more than 28 weeks pregnant travel with medical authorisation. Airlines similarly recommend that women more than 36 weeks pregnant do not fly. If you need to travel, you should consult the situation with your doctor and travel with obligatory medical authorization. In the majority of cases, you will need to sign airline's Waiver of Responsibility with regard to problems that could potentially arise as a result of your condition. Contact your airline to check the measures that apply in these cases. Check out our other videos here http://vid.io/xczD The grieving father of a well-decorated Army soldier killed in Afghanistan says his family was booed by first class passengers for delaying a flight to meet his son's remains. Sgt. John Perry, 30, died on Saturday at Bagram Airfield when he stopped a suicide bomber from reaching his target, a soldiers' 5K Veterans Day run to benefit disabled veterans. His father, Stewart Perry, says his son, who was a combat instructor, and the others who died are heroes, as they may have saved more than 100 people's lives by stopping the bomber from reaching his target. The father, who is a Marine veteran, said he and his wife, Kathy and daughter, Anita, were flying on an American Airlines flight from Sacramento to Philadelphia with a quick transfer in Phoenix on Monday, The Record reported. From Philadelphia they traveled to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware to receive his son's remains. Perry said the family's flight to Phoenix was 45 minutes late and the crew on-board feared the delay may cause them to miss their connecting flight and miss their son's arrival at Dover. Once the plane landed in Phoenix, the captain made an announcement for everyone to stay seated and to let 'a special military family' exit the aircraft first. The heartbroken father said that several passengers seated in first class booed and complained. 'Some people were saying 'This is just baloney,' and 'I paid for first-class for this?'' Perry told the newspaper. 'It was just disgusting behavior from people in first class; it was terrible to see. 'You could see the disappointment from the flight crew.' He said American Airlines 'did everything they could' to accommodate his family. The family made the connecting flight in Phoenix, as the next pilot stayed at that gate for 40 minutes so they could make it on board. The elder Perry said he and his family were forced to tears when fellow passengers started to boo them on the plane. 'To hear the reaction of the flight being delayed because of a Gold Star family, and the first class cabin booing that was really upsetting, and it made us cry some more,' Perry emotionally told KOVR. Perry noted that Vice President Biden was one of many dignitaries at Dover Air Force Base to honor his son as his body returned to the U.S. 'We really appreciate what Vice President Biden did and his care. He stood on that flight line and saluted with his hand across his chest,' Perry said. The grieving father also said that his son's death underscores why the American flag is not just a symbol for protest, but it's sacred. 'It's not for protest-it's for the death of the people that are saving us. That's what it's for,' he said. He also mentioned that there is a disrespect for the loved ones left behind by veterans and called out president-elect Donald Trump's campaign rhetoric and his remarks about the Khan family. 'One example would be Donald Trump speaking badly about a Gold Star family, who I now am, but it also bothers me that people don't want to talk about the terrorism that killed my kid,' the marine veteran father said. The soldier, who was deployed twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, had been awarded a Purple Heart Medal, a Bronze Star and many other awards and decorations. Perry was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Sustainment Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. Pfc. Tyler Lubelt and two Army contractors were also killed in the incident on Saturday. His eight-year-old little sister, Anita Perry, is also mourning his loss. 'He was loving and caring and he did care for me,' the little girl told Fox40. 'I only met him two times, then he left for Afghanistan and he never came back.' He leaves behind his wife of eight years, Julianne, and two young children - five-year-old Lena and four-year-old Gavin. The couple first met in elementary school and eventually reconnected later on in life right before he joined the Army. His wife says he will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia with full military honors. His family members had a memorial service in their hometown for her husband on Thursday. A GoFundMe page started to help support the family has raised more than $20,500 as of Friday evening, surpassing the goal of $20,000. DailyMail.com reached out to American Airlines for a statement.

Or maybe some old Asian fella gets dragged off the plane and everyone laughs a little on the inside. None of that happened on this recent Delta plane ride. This was different. It was unexpected. It brought nearly every passenger to tears. The absolute heartbreaking moment that the captain spoke and people quickly looked out the window. This time it was different, especially for one passenger, Brooke Newton. She missed out on the lame magazines and half cups of soda. She didn’t get to squeeze into her seat next to a farter. She wasn’t offered a pillow that you check for bed bugs and lice. Brooke Newton was in the Navy and still wasn’t offered anything on her flight as it traveled to Will Rogers World Airport where she would meet up with her parents. It wasn’t the type of plane ride she was looking for. Everyone watched as she exited the plane and most of the passengers finally broke into tears. That’s because Brooke was in a coffin draped with an American flag. The pilot informed everyone upon landing that she was on board and being delivered to her parents so they could prepare her burial. Brooke Newton joined the Air National Guard and later the Navy, and her last flight was the delivery of her body. The reason for her passing is unknown, but to see this out of your airplane window has to mean something. People can’t possibly see this and not have an emotional reaction. Every little thing people may have complained about on the plane ride and they had a deceased American soldier who would probably have given anything to be on that plane with an ounce of life left in her body. Everything we take for granted in our Amazing country is put into perspective when we see a brave American being taken out of a plane wrapped in the American flag. The moment a fallen soldier was returned to her family in Oklahoma was so overwhelming for passengers on a commercial flight it brought nearly everyone to tears. Passenger Mike Helms said when his plane landed at Will Rogers World Airport Thursday night, the crew informed passengers of the special significance of the flight. ‘When we stopped at the terminal, the pilot announced that he would like to inform us that we were flying one of our fallen soldiers home to her family,’ Helms wrote on Facebook. People respect the American flag because it represents the people who give their life to battle for America and the freedoms we take advantage of every day. Seeing these photos of Brooke Newton, who was only 25, and knowing how tragic it must have been for her parents to see their baby girl come home like this makes you wonder about so many different little things in life. Since the story of Brooke Newton’s last flight home was uploaded to Facebook, the post has garnered nearly 200,000 shares. Brooke Newton’s mother, Noelle, later posted on her Facebook page: ‘I LOVE YOU BABY AND I ALWAYS WILL!!!’ While her father posted pictures of Brooke during her childhood, writing to everyone that expressed condolences: ‘Thank you to everybody that reached out me and my family today. I was traveling most of the day and couldn’t really keep up. Please keep us in your prayers because we really need them.’ I’ll send this around to some professional athletes who protest the American flag. I want them to know there’s someone who gave their life for them and came home wrapped in the flag they’re protesting. I want people to remember how petty they’re being with their selfish protest that means absolutely nothing. Every time they protest the flag, they’re protesting people who sacrificed more than they’ll ever know. Athletes can donate all the money in the world, but I don’t see any of them giving up their entire life to fight for something. We need our true Americans to unite, stay strong, and remind the haters of the world to remember why they’re here and why they exist in the first place. Everything our ancestors did helped put us in position to be where we are today. Doesn’t matter what color you are – if you’re in America, then you have a chance to be something amazing. Remember that every time you see the American flag.

This would mean affected passengers have the choice to either accept Ryanair's limited offer or fight the matter in court themselves.

Under the new measures, consumers could be compensated up to €6000 depending on the length of the delay and flight distance. The revised rules would also require airlines to better inform passengers about their rights and would lay out procedures for complaints and reimbursements. 'Full transparency on the ticket price to better compare prices including checked luggage, the authorisation to carry more than one bag in the cabin, and the obligation for the airline to set up contact info points in airports in case of a problem. all this is included in our balanced text which provides better rights for passengers and realistic obligations for airlines. This is a good base for discussion with the Council." said S&D French MEP Bernadette Vergnaud. But aviation analysts say the risk for travelers is that airlines would pass on the extra costs. The new law is likely to come into force next year, after negotiations with EU member states.

http://www.euronews.com/ On this edition of U talk Peter from London was wondering about the rights of disabled passengers who are taking flights in Europe, he asked: "Recently at the airport I saw a lady in a wheel chair who was refused boarding as she was not accompanied. Doesn't the EU protect passengers with reduced mobility? To whom can she complain?" "The response came from Malgorzata Kurowska, Senior Comminication Officer with Europe Direct, she said: "Indeed, there are EU rules on the rights of air passengers with reduced mobility that have been in force since 2007. Under these rules, airlines are prohibited from discriminating against people with reduced mobility or to deny boarding on the basis of their health state. "However, an air carrier can refuse to embark a person with reduced mobility or to request him or her to be accompanied by another person in order to meet safety or security requirements. The air carrier must inform the person concerned of its reasons within five working days after the refusal. "We strongly advise people with reduced mobility to contact the airline before departure and explain what assistance he or she might need. "A passenger with reduced mobility can get free of charge assistance at airports on departure, arrival or during transit and on board of aircrafts. For example, the transport of wheelchairs and the carriage of guide dogs for the blind. "In case an airport fails to respect these rules, a passenger can lodge a complaint with the national enforcement body in the country where the incident happened. Or when the person did not get assistance on board of an aircraft, he or she needs then to contact the authorities of the EU country which issued the operating licence to the air carrier." LAS VEGAS -- A tour bus carrying visitors to the edge of the top secret Area 51 military base has done something that many people have only fantasized about doing. Area 51's years in obscurity ended in 1989 when news reports about classified projects at the Nevada base set off a stampede of UFO seekers, aviation watchers, and media. The base is still a favored location for classified military projects, so security is justifiably tight. Motion detectors, high-tech cameras, the ominous cammo dudes and warning signs, which declare deadly force is authorized. The signs themselves have become photo ops, the money shot for guided outings like those operated for 15 years by Adventure Photo Tours. "Some of them are just curious. They don't know what it's about. Others believe they have been abducted. Other people believe they are aliens and they want to go back out there to hopefully get back home. We get all kinds of people," Adventure Photo Tours co-owner Donna Tryon said. Tryon says the typical tour includes stops at main shrines of Area 51 lore: the ET highway sign, the Little A'le'inn, and the holy of holies, the very edge of the base itself. But there is one thing the tour most certainly does not include. "Our guys make it a point to tell the passengers that, you know, you can't go over that line, and if you step over that line, you're on your own," Tryon said. But on May 28, it happened to driver Denis Ryan and his four passengers, all of it recorded, inside and out. The video shows Ryan and group having a good time, zipping toward the edge of 51. At precisely the wrong moment, one of the tourists asked Ryan a question about sports books. It was just enough of a distraction that he blew right past the warning signs, and kept on going. After 45 seconds or so, Ryan started looking around, wondering where the cammo dudes were. Less than two minutes after crossing the boundary, the passengers inform Ryan that a white truck is right on their tail. "A gentleman in full military garb gets out. The one on the passenger side, he had a fully automatic rifle," Ryan said. Ryan says the military men told him he had crossed the line and was trespassing on a military installation. Inside the vehicle, the tourists, a couple from the UK and a mother and son from the East Coast, thought it was all part of the tour, actors playing their part. "They said they would let the company know, 'you took us the extra mile.' They thought it was part of the whole process," Ryan said. They soon learned it was no act. "I apologize for this. Those are the Men in Black," Ryan told his tour. After Lincoln County deputies arrived, the driver and passengers were pulled out, cited for trespassing, and given court dates. The projected fine: $650 apiece and a misdemeanor conviction. Co-owner Will Tryon contacted Lincoln County District Attorney Dan Hogue and tried to get the out of state passengers off the hook. "We were afraid they would issue a bench warrant for these people, turn good tourists into criminals," Will Tryon said. But Hogue wasn't budging. He suspected it was done on purpose. The company decided that if the citations stuck, they would close down the tours to 51, which would be a blow to the fragile rural economy. What the DA didn't know until the I-Team contacted him is that the incident was on video. One look at video, and the expressions on these faces, and the DA knew it wasn't intentional. The driver has to pay but the passengers don't. Driver Denis Ryan is now barred for at least two years. Lincoln County has an arrangement with Area 51. It handles all trespassing cases. The DA told the I-Team that while tourism dollars are important to the county, so is the base, which generates a lot of tax revenue. After the I-Team told him about the video, the DA agreed to drop the charges against the passengers, but on one condition: that no video recorded by the van's forward camera be made public. That camera recorded cammo dudes coming from the other direction. WATCH IN HD!! SEND YOUR UFO SIGHTINGS AND VIDEOS IN A MESSAGE TO OUR YOUTUBE OR FACEBOOK PAGE! 17th November, 2014 (Wednesday) at Dabolim Airport, Goa - Spicejet Airlines Delays, Cancels & then Reschedules it's Flight SG254 amongst various others. I happened to be one of the Passengers of Flight Number SG254 which was scheduled to fly at 1:45 P.M. i.e afternoon but I received a message that the flight has been delayed by an Hour i.e. 2:50 P.M. As I reached the Airport I saw the Screen showing the schedule of Flights and it showed "Cancelled" and when I went to the Spicejet Outlet, I saw people showing their anger and frustration at the Spicejet Representatives. It was Very Unprofessional and Highly Unexpected of them, there were many arguments between the Passengers and the Airline Management, one of the Lady featured in this video took a stand for more than Half an hour but the airlines had no answer to her plight but only that "The Airline is under financial crisis and the aeroplane doesn't have fuel, they themselves haven't received any salaries and so on." Really, hopeless, that they could not make alternative arrangements and inform in advance of such a delay. Some passenger had an interview, some passengers had some important meeting to attend and one of the passengers had to cremate his father and there must be many unheard stories of plight. I myself with my 64 years old mother got caught up in this mess, I had a train to catch from Delhi to Chandigarh (1000/- wasted) instead I had to shell out 5,564 rupees for a Cab from the Delhi Airport to Chandigarh. It was an uncomfortable journey as the heater of the car wasn't working and it was all foggy on the way.
